ART UNDER THE RADAR

From July 26-August 5, 2007, the streets of the Allentown neighborhood of Buffalo, NY came alive with over 250 events by local and visiting theater and dance companies, puppeteers, media artists, poets, comics, musicians, cabaret acts, virtual reality designers, and miscellaneous insurrectionists. The third annual Buffalo Infringement Festival provided artists and audiences of all backgrounds the chance to come together, take chances, push boundaries, and explore uncharted territory because exciting art can happen anywhere, anytime, without a blockbuster budget. (Or any budget at all, for that matter.)

2008

The 2008 Festival is next! Members of Buffalo's arts community are joining forces once again to produce this ambitious grassroots gathering of eclectic, independent, experimental, and politically charged productions from around the world - and YOU can be a part of it! WE NEED NEW VOLUNTEER ORGANIZERS ALL THE TIME. Donations are nice, too.

Year-round

The Infringement Festival is just 11 days each year, but Buffalo Infringers are active all year.

May 9: Infringement Fundraiser at Nietzsche's

May 9: Mamapolooza, at the Albright-Knox
May 31: Hallwalls' Artists & Models, at the Central Terminal
