Chow works mostly in mixed media to create a dark, noir vibe, involving a variety of items collected at flea markets and antique shops all over the world. Items include real teeth, bones, knives, open razors, glass eyes, butterflies, meat cleavers, bottles, weapons and various objects associated with danger, mystique, and religious sacrament. These are then twisted into shadow boxes, sanctuaries and sculptures.
Chow Monstro(Street Art) was derived from an on going series of Mickey Mouse sculptures Chow has created. Regularly changing posters with one constant, his trademark(ed) Mickey Mouse ears on a human skull. These posters can be seen on dilapidated walls and buildings across the globe with reaches through out the US, South America, Mainland Europe & the UK, Australia, Japan and all the way to Siberia and back.
