Tribal Fusion Belly Dance

Tribal Fusion Belly Dance is a modern Western form of Belly Dance which was created by fusing American Tribal Style belly dance and American Cabaret belly dance. Elements of Popping, Hip Hop, 'Egyptian' or 'Cabaret' Belly Dance, as well as movement principles from traditional forms such as Flamenco, Kathak, Odissi, and other folkloric and classical dance styles. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Robyn specializes in Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. She has studied with Michelle Joy of Sinuous Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, Jill Parker, and Kenzie of Oasis Dance Center. Robyn fell in love with Tribal Fusion and has been on a journey of learning and exploring belly dance's deep routes. Robyn has taken workshops and is strongly influenced by dancers such as Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Lacy Sanchez, Michelle Sorensen, Aziza, and many more.
