17-year-old Michael DeLano is a soulful singer-songwriter, but it’s his vocal range on stage and passion on guitar that leaves audiences feeling like age truly is just a number. A true natural in front of a crowd, Michael plays bluesy rock originals with a little folk mixed in. 2019 winner of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Yellen Songwriting Competition, Michael is quickly building a name for himself as a unique addition to the Buffalo music scene. From being chosen to participate in Music Is Art’s Battle of the High School Bands, to being asked to perform as one of the Young Guns emerging artists with the WNY Blues Society, Michael is honing his sound, and writing memorable original music. Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Michael moved to Grand Island, NY in 2016. Finding a thriving music scene in Buffalo and entering a recording arts program at Harkness have propelled Michael to fine-tune his music and grow as an artist. From local festivals to gigs across WNY, Michael continues to practice and refine his sound, as an emerging voice in the local music community.
