--Nate & Kate--

Central-NY's folk superheros Nate & Kate deliver heartfelt modern folk songs, with musical influence spanning orchestral to country-blues. Their quirky songwriting ranges in content from the instant message breakup ("ttyl now baby"), to a Nintendo-drugged child's all-nighter ("The Dancing Screen"), to life in the tabloids ("Face in the Checkout Aisle"). Their multi-faceted live show features high energy, unusual covers, comedy, and JUGGLING choreographed to cello.

Following the release of their debut album, FAME BY FRAME, Nate & Kate have toured the East Coast, Western-NY, and New England steadily. In the past year, they performed at the Grassroots Music Festival, The Ithaca Festival, Musefest, and Cyber Cafe's Westfest in Binghamton, NY. They were featured at select acoustic venues such as The Towne Crier Cafe (near NYC), The Minstrel Coffeehouse (NJ), The Purple Fiddle (WV), Caffe Vivaldi (Manhattan), and Langdon St Cafe (VT). Their music receives airplay from WHRW (Binghamton-area radio), WVBR (Ithaca-area radio), and is in regular rotation at Ithaca College-run radio station, WICB. They played over 75 shows in '07 and are on track to play well over 100 in 2008.

Nate & Kate will play Buffalo's Infringement Festival for the first time this year, and will do several shows on Aug 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (times and venues to be soon confirmed).
