Trystero, from Buffalo NY, has been a band for 3 years and has just released a full length record, which took a year to create. Trystero plays a blend of hypnotic and Heavy music. Pulling on references from the 60's and all the way up to the present. They are comprised of Cello, Bass, Guitar and Drums. The Drums take a front seat often and act as a lead instrument, while there is no vocalist. The Bass, and Guitar often deliver heavy bursts of distortion, where the smooth cello evens it all out and creates a thick as concrete sound. Yet, at times the intensity is brought down to almost a light psychedelic daze. The range and dynamic of this band gives them stellar instrumental soundscape based song structures, which in turn took over a 100 hours to create their , "A Scrapyard of Fallen Empires" record.

The record is on <b>Feral Kid Records</b> and comes in a package as an orange 12" slab of vinyl, a pro cd-r and a comic.
