Victory Light Black Honey is the experimental sonic collective of Pamela Swarts and Vic Lazar and has been performing under this name since 2004. The music made by the duo ranges from minimal, abstract blurts of keyboard sounds and subtly effected guitar to dense layers of looped drones and melodic bursts of jarred guitars, keys and vocals. The compositions blend looping with the unique playing of each of the bands members and they range from somber and minimal audio explorations to panoramic soundscapes that imitate the fingers of ten people on stage all playing at once. VLBH is heavily influenced by mood and weather, appropriately so being from Buffalo, NY.
