The Jimmy Joustra Group The Jimmy Joustra group is an eclectic band, featuring experimental and blues forms alike. Created in early 2008 from various members of past projects, the group has gone on to combine the genres of Blues, Jazz Fusion, and experimental jazz into a musical journey of the audience as well as the group itself. Based primarily of members from the Western New York area, most specifically Lockport, the band was a combination of various musicians in the small jazz and blues scene of WNY. The Jimmy Joustra Group hopes to enter the studio in mid-May & continue with performances throughout the WNY area as well as various venues down the east coast, charting through such cities as Baltimore and Boston.
