Minos Conway

Website: www.minosconway.com

Ever-evolving musical tastes and interests keep Minos Conway on their toes. With fresh grooves and heavy peaks, their music is sure to be soothing to the ear. In the four years that Minos Conway have been together, many changes have come along helping to shape what is now a truly unique and intense style that is all their own. The band consists of four members. James Darley on bass and vocals, Nate McCormick on guitar and vocals, Alex Shcwallenberg on keyboards and vocals, and Joel Clark on the drums. The bands first full length cd is now available. The album is self-titled and consists of nine songs.

We are very proud of the work we did in the studio. It was definitely a learning experience and it forced us to become tighter as a unit. It's cool that Drake (a friend and fellow band member) did all of the artwork so we can say this is truly our work. -James.

The band is currently writing new material, so look for more music soon. Some of the places the band has played include The 810, Dogfish Head Tavern, Arena's, Ram's Head Tavern, East End Cafe, Pale Dog Tavern, Hight Tide Jam Fest '06, Dewey Beach Music Conference '06, Stonestock '06, The Hippy Handfasting Ceremony, and our personal favorite Friendship Fest which is run by their friend Scott Wiggins. Minos has headlined each year and it has grown immensely. The last one pulled in over four hundred people to the little town of Longneck, DE. 2007 will be the fests first all weekend festival.

Over all, Minos Conway loves playing music together. They play with a strong energy and feed off the crowd as much as possible. Soothing and at times very intense, Minos Conway is sure to bring a fresh sound to the your ear.
