Andrew Weathers is a North Carolina based composer of electroacoustic music. He has spend the last several years performing around the east coast, both as a solo performer and in collaboration with other musicians. Heavily influenced by modern composers such as John Cage and Steve Reich, he attempts to combine their aesthetic with sound processing techniques used by contemporary electroacoustic composers. He is currently studying music composition at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, under Mark Engebretson and Alejandro Rutty.
