High School teacher Mark Byrd is stressed out... He is burned out.... And now his students have locked him in a small storage closet at the back of his classroom and he can't get out !

Come spend the Victoria Day long weekend with Mark as he deals with how to survive this ordeal and how he confronts himself on how he has become every high school teacher he has ever hated.

Luciano Iacobelli

Playwright

Luciano Iacobelli born in 1956 in Toronto Ontario . Poet, playwright and visual artist, he attended York university between 1975-1980, and while earning a degree in Education, studied english literature and attended writing courses taught by Frank Davey and Don Coles. In I986 his first play The Porch was staged in Toronto followed in 1987 by a one man show entitled Byrdbrain. Throughout the 1990's he focussed on art and painting and was involved in a number of group shows featuring Italian Canadian artist. In 1990 he founded Lyricalmyrical Press, a grass roots publishing company specializing in handcrafted chapbooks. He still continues to be it's chief editor and designer.

He is one of the organizers of The Toronto Wordstage reading series, and a partner in Quatro press. He is Author of six poerty chapbooks and one full length book entitled The Angel Notebook.
