Sugar City is structured as an alternative community arts and cultural space (not a traditional wine-and-cheese-white-walled gallery) to share and create art based on participatory culture and a do-it-together attitude. We want to break down the barriers of what is and isn't "art" because in some way everyone is an artist. It's about sharing creativity and energy. We want to organize a space to exhibit, perform and create art for those who cannot obtain space from traditional sources because of social limitations. NOTE THERE ARE TWO SHOWCASES: July 27 and August 1st
