International Infringement Festival

 ' ' ' AuNaturelle-Boosters ' ' '

 presents a production of

' ' ' The Body Beautiful ' ' '

for performance during the Buffalo Infringement Festival.

An Artistic Body Painting and Amateur Talent Contest, open to all.

' ' ' JULY 29, Saturday, 7pm at the New Phoenix Theatre ' ' ' on the Park, in Johnson Park, North. (west end)

ONGOING CASTING CALL & ONGOING AUDITIONS TO THE LAST MINUTE We need people. "Come On Down" & join in the fun.

Anyone with a minimum of singing, dancing or acting talent may tryout for the Amateur Talent Contest. Each contestant will have 5 to 10 minutes to perform on stage during the contest. More experienced performers are also invited to participate. Judging will be done by the audience.

Many of us are familiar with the amateur talent contests seen at Summertime campgrounds and gatherings. Over the years, some of the most hilarious comedy skits to be seen anywhere are performed at such events. This is an attempt to duplicate such comedic amateur performances.

There are Several Auditions. Contact: SunTanAble1@Yahoo.com as soon as possible. Recruiting, Auditions, Rehearsals & Performances Are "Ongoing" until July 29th.

Did you miss out on applying to the Buffalo Infringement Festival by their April 1st deadline. Here is your opportunity to join in the fun. We need all the "volunteer" amateur talent that can be found.

Design your own skit & body paint scheme. Just be funny. Your visual appearance may be entirely concieled & cameraflauged with paint, feathers, cotton, sparkly stuff, whatever; just NO regular items of textile clothing, when on stage.

Saturday, July 29, 2006. 9 AM.....An all day "Body Painting Workshop" will begin in earnist at 9am with "Black & White" as the primary "base" colors. Noon.....We then visit the "Ladies in Black" as they stand their usual Saturday vigil at Bidwell & Elmwood beginning at noon to 1pm. Noon.....Bright color application starts at Noon on the same day; and continues until completion or until first performance at 5pm at Rustbelt Books, one block south.

' ' ' The location of the Workshop is at the Nickle City CO-OP, at North & Elmwood, a location associated with the Festival. ' ' '

Ounce painted and properly "uniformed"; a "Cavalcade" of bicyclists will "Bike-About-Town" passing out Infringement Festival fliers to the public. We will comply with the law and public expectations, when in public. But otherwise, when in private, who knows. The artistic painting is an unrecognizable disguise.

' ' ' Does this sound a bit risky? Don't worry about it! We will be entirely legal in all respects. ' ' '

We need volunteer "models" to be artisticly painted and enter the judging contest. Also, talented body painters to apply the artwork with style and refinement. Both roll-on and air-brush paints may be used. The painting design scheme is up to the model being painted and the artist doing the painting. Design inovation and origionallity are encurraged. Extras such as sprinkled ornamentation are permitted. This is also a teaching class for those who have never done body painting before.

A participation fee covers costs. Paint is expensive.

Be as innovative as you wish. Mascaraide as a clown, an alien, a ghost, an historical character, anything just so long as you are origional and display some level of talent. This IS an amateur talent contest, but we NEED pros to round things off also.

The idea is simple, make it funny.

Contact: SunTanAble1@Yahoo.com as soon as possible

There will be a reception/party at 8pm after the performance, at the same location as the painting, Nickle City Co-OP, North & Elmwood,
